Espen is on behalf of Boheme Europe AS the data controller for the company's processing of personal data. 

Personal data that is stored

We store the following personal data about our customers;

Name, address, phone number and email address, password for my page.

We also store purchase history and behaviour patterns on our website, i.e. Information on how each customer navigates the page.

Reason for processing

We process the data in order to carry out our obligations according to agreement with you.

We also use the data to provide you with information, offers and services in connection with your purchase via email, telephone, SMS and mailings.

We use the purchase history and behavioural patterns on the website to provide recommendations and advertisements tailored to each individual user.

The basis for processing

Information on name, address, telephone, email address is used to fulfil the purchase agreement. The basis of this processing is the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6 (b).

By this you have given your consent to the data being used to provide you with information, offers and services in connection with your purchase via email, telephone and SMS. The basis of this processing is the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6 (a). You may at any time refuse to receive such information from us.

Where you have consented to our making use of your purchase history and behavioural patterns to make recommendations and advertisements specifically tailored to you as a user. The basis of this processing is the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6 (a). You may withdraw your consent to such use at any time.

Collection of personal data

We store the personal data you have provided on our website in connection with your purchase.

We use cookies on our website to provide visitors to our website with the best customer experience and service. The Act relating to electronic communication requires that we inform our visitors about the use of cookies. We collect information about your use of our service. Some of this information may be personal data, i.e. IP-number. We also collect information about how you navigate our site, what searches you make and what products you are interested in. We use Google Analytics and Google adwords, and within this third party ad-tools. Cookies have to be allowed for you to have full use of our pages.

If you do not want cookies to be stored on you unit, you can avoid this by altering the settings in your web browser. There you can block some or all cookies, and delete stored cookies. If you choose not to allow storage of cookies on your unit, some services and functions on the web site may not work properly.

Disclosure of information to third parties

We do not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data to others unless we are legally obliged to do so. 

In order to fulfil our obligations under the agreement, the necessary information is disclosed to our partners, BRING is our freight company and potential finance company.

Erasure of personal data

Data received in connection with your purchase is stored in our active customer register for 3.5 years.

Data we are obliged to keep according to the Accounting Act will be stored for up to 5 years, in accordance with the requirements of the law.

Rights of the registered person

We process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. We would inform you that you may require access to, and removal of, your own personal data, as well as to require correction or deletion of data.

A complaint may be registered with the Norwegian “Datatilsynet” or processing in contravention of the rules.

Data Protection Officer

We have a Data Protection Officer, Espen Karlsen, who ensures that the rules of the Personal Data Act for processing of personal data are followed.

Information security

We safeguard your personal data in the case of both physical and virtual access, and access control, as well as by encrypting sensitive areas of the information provided.
